Junior Capex Project Manager EAME (Csongrád-Csanád county)

The CAPEX Project Manager will lead and direct large/high-priority CAPEX Engineering projects often requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.


  • BSc/MSc in Engineering, Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2) is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian
  • Experience in leading green/brown field projects (3-7 years), preferably in food/chemical industry (but other sectors may also be considered in manufacturing or production)
  • Experience in working with diverse cultures and multidiscipline specialists
  • Experience in contracts management and supplier selection processes
  • Excellent cooperation and compromise skills
  • Customer-focus; Decision quality


  • Assemble and manage the project team (internal, external resources)
  • Monitor project team performance and complete performance reviews (also for future use)
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team
  • Drive day-to-day execution of assigned strategic project (or phase) and manage project resources to drive a successful project delivery
  • Prepare the project planning and financial forecasts/estimates for all phases
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication to the project steering committee and relevant stakeholders with regular reporting on status, KPIs, project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Liaise with customer organization to ensure consistent and aligned needs are met
  • Manage Project (and esp. scope changes) according to the globally CapEx/PM processes
  • Ensure adherence to Quality & EHS standards (project management and technical)
  • Drive selection of engineering suppliers and vendors together with IM&S, assisting negotiation and dispute management as needed
  • Facilitate and resolve conflicts among project team members and/or other stakeholders
  • Provide consultation and participate to workshops, peer-reviews and Post Implementation Reviews in other Projects
  • Participate to the development of global CapEx/PM best practices & standards when requested
