I started my career almost 20 years ago as a finance controller, I held several leadership positions in accounting for various sized global and local businesses in engineering, automation, and agriculture industry. Due to their nature, the size and complexity of their activities varied, but they shared the common need to operate a reliable information system that supports the achievement of corporate objectives and provides compliance with the constantly changing legal obligations. My main goal is to create value by understanding the business needs and providing efficient back-office support for day-to-day operation and management requirements. Some may say accounting is one of the most boring subject in the world, but a well-structured accounting and controlling is a solid foundation for a company’s operations, by which boring can be replaced with stability, value creation, and predictability.
